At a glance

Your messages help us verify access and respond to your requests. Marketing requires separate permission, and you can ask Tifam to access, correct or delete the WhatsApp information we hold.

Tifam on WhatsApp

Tifam uses the WhatsApp Business Platform to send account verification codes, communicate about available services and respond to customer requests. This policy covers information handled by Tifam when you interact with our business through WhatsApp.

It supplements our Privacy Policy. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and has its own Privacy Policy governing its service.

Information received through WhatsApp

  • Your WhatsApp identity: phone number, WhatsApp identifiers and profile name made available to our business. A WhatsApp profile name is not treated as a verified legal identity.
  • What you send: text, replies, images, audio, video, documents, contact details or locations you choose to share, and your responses to supported buttons, lists or forms.
  • Conversation records: message identifiers, timestamps, delivery and read status where provided, support activity and relevant technical or error records.
  • Related account information: account or support records needed to understand your request. Contacting us may create a customer or conversation record; it does not by itself verify an account or authorize marketing.

Why we use this information

We process messages to answer questions, provide support, send requested verification codes and handle the service interactions you initiate. Locations and attachments you voluntarily share help us respond to the particular request. We also use relevant message and delivery records to maintain continuity, investigate failed deliveries and prevent misuse.

Authorized Tifam staff may review and reply to conversations. Please avoid sending unrelated sensitive information, payment credentials or sign-in codes in chat. Enter verification codes only in the Tifam sign-in process that you initiated.

Meta and other service providers

Messages are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta and WhatsApp process information under the terms and privacy policies applicable to their services. Hosting, storage and security providers may also process relevant information to operate Tifam's messaging service.

Access within Tifam is limited by staff permissions and operational responsibilities. We may disclose relevant information where needed to meet a lawful requirement or protect rights and service security. Providers may process information outside your country. This policy describes Tifam's handling of information; it does not replace Meta's or WhatsApp's own policies.

Protection and retention

Tifam applies controls including encryption of stored message content, permission-based access and redaction of sensitive information from diagnostics. Messages received by our business may be retained in Tifam's systems to support the conversation; protection within WhatsApp does not remove our responsibility for those business records.

Conversation and technical records are retained according to their purpose, support needs and applicable obligations. Some information may need to remain for security investigations, disputes or legal holds. Deleting a message from your WhatsApp app does not necessarily delete the corresponding record already received by Tifam.

Your data requests and contact

To ask for access, correction or deletion of WhatsApp information held by Tifam, email tifamtiffinandpg@gmail.com with the subject “WhatsApp privacy request”. Include your WhatsApp number with its country code and describe the request. Do not include sign-in codes or payment credentials.

If you have a Tifam customer account, you can also open the account's Privacy tab and choose Request my data or Request deletion. We may verify your identity before acting. Requests are reviewed, and eligible information is deleted or anonymized subject to any necessary legal or record-keeping exceptions. We will respond with any verification steps and the outcome.

Requests to Tifam concern the records we hold. To exercise choices over information held by WhatsApp or Meta, use their own privacy tools. We may update this policy as our messaging practices change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Contact Tifam at the email above with any questions.
